ORGANIC EVENTS & ORGANIZATIONS
18TH ANNUAL FEAST OF FIELDS - ORGANIC FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL - Everdale Farm and Organic Learning Centre
The collaboration of Organic Advocates and Everdale Farm will produce one of the best and most educational experiences we have ever presented. The interactive trip through the farm to the Feast of Fields site will be educational and interesting. Once at the site, sample organic delicacies prepared by Southern Ontario's top chefs, as they rise to the challenge of serving and presenting their dish in a completely biodegradable manner. Enjoy a variety of Ontario microbreweries and V.Q.A. wines, as well as organic juices, coffees, teas, and other beverages.
There will be a farmers market where you can purchase fresh organic produce to take home with you, and farmers will be throughout the site offering samples of their bounty. Feast of Fields is truly a celebration of the farmer. Please join us on September 16th, 2007 at Everdale Farm.
Funds raised through Organic Advocates' Feast of Fields help support organic agriculture and the promotion and understanding of growing, cooking and eating organics.
This year Feast of Fields will be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario. The EFAO was established in 1979 to develop and provide programs promoting the practice and advancement of ecological agriculture, which maintains and enhances the health of the soil, water, crops, livestock and the diversity of the environment.
