Dreamspeak: Tiny Light By Toko-pa Turner
When Swiss dream pioneer and founder of Analytic Psychology, Carl G. Jung, was in university, he dreamt he was walking at night into a mighty wind with his hands cupped around a tiny light which threatened to go out at any moment. Even as a gigantic black figure pursued him, he knew that everything depended on his keeping the little light alive.
To keep the light of consciousness alive as we enter into the shadowy aspects of our psyches is the great task of dreamwork. It is perhaps the most common reason that people resist dreaming, for how frightening nightmares can be.
