Pfenning’s Organic Vegetables is a family-run farm emphasizing local first. Farm-grown produce includes carrots, potatoes, onions, broccoli, kale, chard, red leaf, green leaf and romaine lettuces, dandelion, parsley, spinach, parsnip and beets on a 300-acre farm. Pfenning’s also produce and pack raw sauerkraut according to a traditional German recipe. CSA FG: Forty different vegetables. Eggs and meat. Everdale has a local CSA and a farm store (open on Saturdays only). Everdale also offers workshops on straw bale construction, wind power, greywater, medicinal herbs and more. The 50-acre property encompasses a working organic farm, forests, meadows, nature trail, cut flower garden, and demonstration models of sustainable technologies including Home Alive!
