Avalon Retreat Centre

Avalon Retreat Centre

Madawaska Valley

The Avalon Retreat Centre (ARC) provides a living example of a conscious and sustainable community where all traditions are honoured. Located on a semi-private lake in Madawaska Valley, the ARC offers summer retreats, facilitated by Teacher and Medicine Person, Gaisheda Kheawok. Feel free to meditate, walk the Medicine Wheel or Labyrinth, swim, and canoe. Children’s programs run concurrently with adult programs. Deepen your connection with the Earth Mother and the natural world this summer by participating in the following retreats:

Medicine Wheel Retreat: July 9 to 16 (three, four, and seven day retreats). In the Seneca tradition, we have 13 gifts and abilities. We say, “When you know who you are, you will know what to do.” Experience and strengthen your connections to the Earth Mother through Tribal teachings.

A Women’s Mysteries Event: Circle of Wisdom/Dance of Love:  August 12 to 14. Celebrate the re-emergence of the Divine Feminine! Attune to archetypal wisdoms, nurture strength, embrace compassion, and create change as you re-connect to the circle of the sisterhood.

Teachings of the Fire:  September 23 to 25. Embark upon a clarity quest as Shaman and Priestess, Gaisheda Kheawok, guides you deep into the Sacred Earth Mysteries, opening the gate to the elemental teachers.

Private rentals of Longhouse and workshop space are available for booking. Call (416) 588-4503, email info@whisperingsong.com, or visit www.whisperingsong.com. Gaisheda Kheawok is a Peace Activist, Seer, and Leader of Earth-based Spirituality.  She stewards the land of ARC as Executive Director of the Whispering Song School of Energy Medicine.
