Gemini: May 21 – June 20

 

A New Age is bursting all around us, but it’s not the same in real life as in the imagination. Nevertheless, you aspire with all your heart to grand possibilities until June 7th, when you are grounded or earthed in some way. It’s a process, and a good one because an ounce of reality is worth a pound of cure. Passionate ideals, both sane and not, are everywhere. It’s over-stimulating for the Gemini mind, which eats information the way the rest of us might eat potato chips. No matter which day you were born, your year begins on June 12th. Lay out your intentions so you have a clear sense of what you want to accomplish. Idealism is literally eclipsed from the 21st to 28th. Protect your resources. You will need them.

 

Cancer: June 21 – July 21

 

The world continues its turmoil but / and you are called to step up to a position of leadership over the summer – starting June 6th. Cancer is the hive; you are the queen bee. Send out into the world the most diligent and trustworthy parts of yourself, and don’t doubt your abilities. Be radical on the 8th through 11th, even if it’s only in private. From the 12th on, cultivate awareness of your inner mind chatter. Over the next two weeks, many events (both anticipated and unexpected) may jar your expectations. Trust the flow. Your thoughts are clear and decisive from the 25th to 29th. Let your actions be guided by them.

 

Leo: July 22 – August 22

 

There is a buzz in the air; a dream of possible futures on June 4th, which takes off into a real world adventure from the 8th on. A long journey is before you. It will take years. It should be fun, or at least illuminating. If back to school is required for you to reach your goals, there is no time like the present. Dress the part (whatever it is) on the 15th. If it costs you something, think of it as an investment. Friends are unrealistic about what they can achieve on the 19th. Challenge them. From the 21st to 28th it’s a rocky ride. Unrest, egotism, and selfish actions are challenged by the needs of the general population. For you this means listening to your inner wisdom before you ride off on some righteous mission.

 

Virgo: August 23 – September 22

 

You are full of Virgo energy, the way only a Virgo can be, from June 7th on. Worst case is that you flatten people with your analytical assessment of their flaws. Best case is that your brilliant analysis of people and situations is appreciated and sought after by others. The key is ‘sought after.’ Don’t offer if no one asks. It’s amazing how much more you can give when you encourage people to come after you for your sharp insight. You feel lazy on the 10th through 12th. Take a rest. Things start up again after the 13th. Creative power and brilliance are yours from the 14th to 18th (at least). Be humble in the face of your gifts. From the 21st – 30th is anybody’s guess (amazing breakthroughs or chaos?). Use your radar to determine the cause of delusions, but only share with those who appreciate you. 

 

Libra: September 22 – October 22

 

Sometimes it seems there is no point. The world falls into random events, and even worse, people don’t make sense. Things are about to change on June 6th. Someone is arriving in your life, and it may never be the same. You have the summer to unwrap this package and there will be more to come in ’11. Meanwhile, remember that whether things seem random or meaningful is a trick of perception. It depends on your perspective. A brilliant teacher unnerves you on the 11th. Awareness dawns on the 15th like a puzzle resolving itself into a coherent picture. From the 21st on, the edgy world comes knocking on your door. Avoid the hot-heads. Embrace the true visionaries.

 

Scorpio: October 23 – November 21

 

The vague feeling that something big is expected of you on June 4th is replaced (after the 6th) with an impulse to engage others in the task at hand. Pay attention to the small things. Time is speeding up and there is no time to consider – if you have time to do what must be done. Just doing it makes the most sense around the 15th, when nobody can deny your ability. As busy as you are during the last week of June, take care to be true to your beliefs and remember that you are the resource. Burn-out is no fun. An ounce of self-care is worth a pound of R & R if it means taking you away from your work – especially if you are passionate about it.

 

Sagittarius: November 22 – December 20

 

Ambition is strong in you from June 7th on. This is a world on the edge and you have something excellent to offer. Enthusiasm is the key. You have been down a quart for quite a while, but those days are over. Now is a time to jump into the thick of things and stay there at least until mid-August. Avoid misguided idealists from the 9th through 12th. Consider words and intentions of the other guy from the 13th on. You could learn something. On the 15th, be smart about your resources: time, effort, money, and love. Balance conservation with expression. From the 21st to 30th, we all have to deal with the challenge of a world spinning out of control. What part would you like to play in that dance?

 

Capricorn: December 21 – January 19

 

Step into greater intensity on June 6th as you enter the zone of domestic reality: time to move, renovate, or deal with the dead (old issues, past problems). On the 7th, and by the 15th, it is clear that you have the wisdom and support to manage your life effectively, which makes Capricorn happy. From the 8th – 11th, love is encouraged through commitment and dashed by unrealistic expectations. Love is excited about all the wonderful ways it can make life interesting and challenged to think outside the box. Whether you are from Mars or Venus, be wise and strategic about love, not instinctive and unconscious. The last week of June demands that you be up-close and personal with your people. Inclusion makes things easier.

 

Aquarius: January 20 – February 17

 

Summer begins this June, and astrologers all over the world are anticipating the un-anticipatable. As this filters down to the non-astrologers, it’s easy to get worried. As individuals we want to know, “What about me?” Your mind is relentlessly busy. Everything is either distracting or revealing. Find the balance between taking in information and letting it settle. Do something demanding and physical to focus your mind and still the chatter. Disappointment on the 9th through 11th is averted after the 12th, when you engage with creative people or activities.

 

Pisces: February 18 – March 19

 

If you are down a quart financially, this summer is about unexpected boons. Be open to them after June 6th, and on the 8th. Someone you are engaged with for love or money challenges you to a duel after the 7th. Their sword can cut. Don’t just defend yourself, dance with the energy while keeping a strong centre. A truce happens on the 15th. Use it to strengthen yourself and call on your allies. Welcome the new season on the 21st with your favourite things. Love promises more than it can deliver over the next week. If you are prepared for that, you will be more receptive to love when it is actually offered (possibly on the 28th).

 

Aries: March 20 – April 19

 

Step into the magic zone as of June 6th. Anything can and will happen for you over the summer. Attempt the feat of meeting your world with passion, as well as awareness. You will need it especially from the 21st – 28th. At this time, some of your greatest challenges will be laid down. Take your time to meet them. Call it luck or good karma, but around the 15th looks to be an opportune moment for your career, as well as love and fun. From the 7th on, commit yourself to hard work. Whatever the task at hand, doing it well will be good for you. Choose your words knowing that they have the power to hurt as well as inspire on the 19th. What you say will be noted.

It’s impossible to know what to do on June 4th unless you take time to listen to what is stirring beneath your feet, within The Great Mother.
