Correcting Nearsightedness Without Laser Surgery
John William Yee’s invention for correcting nearsightedness is called Orthoculogy (Latin for correcting the whole eye), or ortho C for short. It is based on a pair of contact lenses which one would wear for 1-1/2 minutes. It is designed to “correct” or “reverse” one’s nearsightedness naturally. The procedure is outlined in his book Reversing Nearsight-edness.
It’s possible to “cure” mild cases of nearsightedness in the -0.25 diopter to -1.50 diopters range, he says. It’s possible to achieve 20/20 vision or better after one application for one and a half minutes – not weeks or months or years. Maximum improvement would be gained in one to three applications. Then you would wear the lenses regularly for maintenance which would be once every week or once every two weeks.
Ortho C can also treat astigmatism, anisometropia, lazy eye, different forms of scotomas, hyperopia, and presbyopia (old age vision which becomes apparent after 45 years of age). And yes, it’s also possible to “reduce” more severe cases of myopia. John Yee has treated myopia as high as -18.75 diopters. He specializes in treating kids since they are more receptive to ortho C.
Ortho C can improve your vision naturally. It is natural in the sense that there is no slicing or dicing (by applying a scalpel or laser). There are no implants involved, such as implanting a “ring” onto your cornea (Cornea Ring Implant), or implanting a lens between your natural lens and the iris (Interocular Lens Implant), or even implanting another cornea onto your existing cornea. And you do not have to depress or collapse the cornea with a very “flat” contact lens as in Orthokeratology (or ortho K).
Unlike other intrusive methods for correcting nearsightedness, the curvature of the cornea will not be altered. Unlike existing methods for correcting nearsightedness, ortho C does not tamper with your cornea. Its curvature will remain the same after ortho C. (There is the tendency for it to be “smoothed” out instead to reduce your astigmatism – if you have astigmatism.)
The whole eye (which involves the eyeball, the lens, the cornea, and the muscles) has a tendency to reverse back to its premyopic shape without surgery. Certain muscles will be relaxed, other muscles will be stretched, and others will be tightened.
When the cornea, lens, and eyeball strive together to conform to their premyopic shape, your improvement in vision is due to the improved structure of the whole eye and not just a part of it. Thus the burden of your visual improvement is not placed on any specific part of the eye.
Ortho C is a fraction of the cost of laser surgery, not to mention the absence of any pain involved. It does not have any of laser surgery’s inherent risks, such as: scarring, undercorrection, overcorrection, halo effect, dry eye, deterioration of vision at night, or the risk of rupture if too much of the cornea is shaved off. And with mild or moderate cases, it is quicker.
Ortho C goes against the grain of conventional wisdom which states that the eye as a whole cannot be reshaped, that there is no cure for astigmatism, and that nearsightedness cannot be corrected naturally.
John Yee wants to adhere to the tradition of a Canadian invention as proposed by Banting, the Canadian inventor of insulin: the invention should be affordable, it should help as many people as possible, and no one company should monopolize it.
John William Yee was born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Centennial College, Saint Mary’s University, University of Waterloo, Ryerson University, Alberta Institute of Technology. He studied philosophy, psychology, mechanical engineering, auto mechanics, and optometry.
Reversing Nearsightedness took over ten years to research and write. It is his eighth “speciality” book where he applied mechanical principles to design a variable focal length contact lens that’s capable of changing the curvature of the whole eye (the cornea, the lens, and the eyeball) to “reverse” one’s nearsightedness – instead of just changing the curvature of a part of the eye (like the cornea, for example, by means of laser surgery or orthokeratology; or the lens, by means of intraocular lens implant). At present, Dr. Yee is conducting more research, offering seminars, and is preparing his next book Dealing With Difficult Cases of Nearsightedness.
Testimonial:
“Ortho C follows all the principles of natural vision therapy that I teach my students in qigong. Just like laser surgery, Ortho C promises permanent reversal of myopia but with none of the inherent surgical risks of damage to the eye and resulting eyesight. Best of all, it’s inexpensive, costing the same as a regular set of prescription glasses—but you don’t have to wear them everyday for life! Not only does the price of Ortho C makes the treatment available to everyone, but John takes a personal interest in his patients and their improvement in eyesight. Truly a “promising sight for sore eyes”. Thank you John, I can equate your contribution to eye health as what Banting did for diabetes: the affordability of Ortho C makes it available to anyone interested in reversing their myopia."

Hydrate and Detoxify Your Cells with the Quantum Age Water Stirwand™
Sometimes we lose sight of the obvious as we are led to believe that only complex solutions can solve modern challenges. The founders of Quantum Age Water took a new approach to an old problem to come up with a space age solution to a centuries-old challenge that has been defined as “Unintentional Chronic Dehydration.”
QAW made it their mission to educate the world on the importance of cellular hydration, oxygenation and detoxification and to provide a natural, non-invasive universal solution to this most critical aspect of health for every living thing. The latest 100-person 90-day test results prove that they were successful in securing the missing links in a practical, economical and responsible way.
The good news from that study indicates that their Basic / 24/7 Stirwand™ increased hydration by an average 28.5% over baseline in 30 days with 50 subjects, increased blood oxygen levels over baseline by 10.25% in 14 days, and decreased total cellular toxicity by 18.2% in 90 days.
The Quantum Age Stirwands™ are a family of fountain pen sized elegant and cost effective hydrating devices that are within the reach of almost anyone. Twenty seconds is all it takes to stir a glass or a gallon of the best water you can get, to transform it into the best tasting and most effective body friendly water yet. The transfer occurs through a resonance between the securely encapsulated High Matrix minerals and the water molecules. The stirred water is stable over a long time so that you can enjoy its benefits at work, at school, or during a weekend camping trip.
The critical factors in water that are important for hydration include resistivity, conductivity, surface tension, specific gravity, and correct charge. QAW’s exclusive blend of minerals in their Stirwands™ aligns these factors so that the resulting charged water can fully activate the body’s aquaporin channels, while offering the added benefits of increased blood oxygen and a variety of specific energies, from relaxation to inspiration.
Fenestra Research Labs originally advised QAW that earlier work done by them indicated that cellular oxygen levels increase as hydration increases, and the investment in the additional testing of blood oxygen level has proved this to be true. This is good news for anyone wishing to create a more wellness friendly environment just by enjoying the recommended amount of water every day. There just isn’t anything in almost any price range that can match or even approach these documented results.
Based on the time in use, and to give the potential new user confidence in their purchase, QAW Stirwands™ are warranted against manufacturer’s defects for five years, and carry a 45 day money back guarantee. QAW advises that they will last a lifetime with proper care.
Studies have shown that we absorb less than 10% of the water we drink if it isn’t stirred with QAW Stirwands™ first. Even if you drink enough water every day, studies on nearly 40,000 people, all drinking this standard amount of water, show 94% are still dehydrated. A dependable and economical source of vast amounts of energetically balanced and stabilized water is required for the survival and potential optimal well-being of life on this planet.
The late Dr. F. Batmanghelidj said that the body’s desensitization to the primary symptoms of dehydration results in a mistaken belief that the body is adequately hydrated as long as secondary symptoms such as the “dry mouth” are not present. Things changed for the better in 2003, when the research that won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry came to the attention of Dave Schneider. Sensing the importance of these discoveries, Dave created Quantum Age Water to utilize this technology to create a cost effective response to what he described as “A Hydration Crisis of Epidemic Proportions.” Make the water you drink count with Stirwands™ and share them with your plants and animals. They’re not just for people, they’re for anyone or anything with cells!

Vanquish Household Grime with the Universal Stone
Review by Julia Woodford
Housecleaning is not really my thing, so I tend to let the dishes pile up and the countertops disappear under layers of vegetable peelings, spills, and grime. I think I need a maid (or a househusband, yuk yuk).
But when a new eco-friendly cleaner called the Universal Stone popped up on my radar, I decided it was time to roll up my sleeves and excavate the layers of grunge in my kitchen in order to give the product a real test.
Created by the Zielinsky family of Germany, the Universal Stone is a unique patented formula of compressed earth clay, natural soap flakes, and vegetable oils. It’s solid as a rock at room temperature, hence the ‘stone’ in the name. It is activated by running a damp sponge across the stone, and then squeezing the sponge to develop a rich foam.
Before I could attack my mountain of dirty dishes, I realized I’d better clean the sink and taps which were coated with grime. As I gingerly rubbed Universal’s foamy sponge across all that stainless steel, the grime began to lift off easily. After wiping the soapy steel with a damp cloth, I was pleased to see its sparkle and gleam return at last. Hey, this is easy.
Then on to the countertops, where a week’s worth of accumulated dirt had rendered them an icky, sticky mess. Once again, a little elbow grease combined with the Universal Stone succeeded in peeling off all the layers of goo. Because the product is slightly abrasive, it easily lifts off stubborn stickies, especially if the sponge is saturated with hot water and loaded with the soap. After that, a rinse with a damp cloth and the countertops began to return to their former glory, looking several shades brighter than before. All that, and I’d barely scratched the surface of the soap stone.
Mind you, these laminate counters were also heavily stained, so to restore them to mint condition I sprayed their newly cleaned surfaces with non-chlorine bleach and left it to soak in overnight. By morning, the heavy stains had disappeared. (This bleaching job wouldn't be necessary on tile countertops because they don't absorb stains like laminate does.)
So I was on a roll. Next, my refrigerator fell under the onslaught of the Universal Stone, with the soapy sponge reaching into its darkest mouldy corners. Wow. It hasn't been this clean since I bought it! Once again the abrasiveness of the product helped to lift off a month’s worth of dirt, and the sponge sopped up the mould. In fact, the sponge is custom made in Germany specifically for the Universal stone, being very dense and full of air bubbles meant to maximize the cleaning action of the stone/soap. You can even buy the sponge separately for washing dishes (with dish soap) or for sponging yourself (with body soap).
I think my next frontier will be the bathroom, though I’ll need a few glasses of wine under my belt first.
According to the manufacturer, this product is also recommended for cleaning silverware (without chemicals), windshields, barbecues, lawn furniture, as well as scuff marks off the walls and floors. The product has passed stringent testing and accumulated several awards – in Europe it has been certified by the Swiss Federal Environment Board as toxin-free, phosphate- and acid-free. The Asthma & Allergy Clinic of Helsinki Finland rated it as safe for everyday use for asthma and allergy sufferers, children, and pets.
The Universal Stone is a testament to the fact that you don't need to expose yourself to harsh chemicals and carcinogens in order to get your house clean. You just need to get acquainted with the latest European technology, and this is it. The product is fully biodegradable (therefore does not contaminate our waterways), and available in three sizes: 500 grams (lasts about 4 months, used daily); 800 g. (lasts about 6 months, used daily), and 4 kg (for workplace and hobbies). Knowing me, the 500 grams will likely last years.
