Letters to the Editor

apr_08_letters_header A Heartfelt Thank You

Let me take this opportunity to thank you – all the staff at Vitality, and especially Julia, your editor and leader. I have learned so much and met so many lovely people as a result of the responses I have gotten to my ads over the years. Everyone at Vitality is always so helpful, so professional, and so committed to providing good service. I always feel very taken care of as a client of Vitality and I love what your magazine provides to the community. I feel the staff of Vitality are an important part of my business and my success. Thank you for everything that you do to create a magazine with integrity, service, and good value at the forefront.

Kudos to Dr. Rona

Please thank Dr. Rona for his excellent article on statins and cholesterol (September 2009 issue). As I am currently on Crestor and have recently been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, it is particularly relevant. I shall be taking the article to both my doctor and cardiologist!

I shall also be taking steps to discontinue the statins under the care of a naturopath. Thank you for an excellent magazine,

Where is the media coverage?

The Globe has covered the Senate’s amending the justice Bill extensively as it should. But when the Senate is dealing with Bill C-6’s hugely unconstitutional elements just as vigorously, The Globe is silent. Why does the public need to read about it in Vitality magazine only? (www.vitalitymagazine.com/oct09_helkefeat)

Why are people getting the impression that Vitality has a higher standard of journalism than The Globe on this issue? The way the Conservatives inserted unconstitutional elements goes far, far beyond being merely deeply troubling. Much of the Senate is united in seeing this for what it is. What do the Liberals now think of the Bill? Surely they must have regrets. What does it say about the government’s approach to governing? All anyone can see is The Globe doesn’t feel it’s even worth covering or commenting on. Is this the case?

Vaccination Affidavit Concern

Dr. Rona, You had mentioned in your article that if anyone would try to force us to have any vaccine, we should show them the affidavit on the pdf page http://vran.org/legacy/docs/form-2.pdf.

However this form is geared to parents not wanting their kids to get the shot in school, this is not written for every individual. Could you please clarify, as your article had me believing I could get an affidavit for myself.

Antoine (by email)

Dr. Rona Responds

Antoine: The same form will work for adults. Just have the word “pupil” and “parent” stroked out, initialized, and notarized by a lawyer or notary public. I am not aware of any forms strictly for adults since adults can legally refuse any medical treatment with the exception of acute psychiatric intervention. Psychiatric treatment cannot be enforced due to refusal of vaccines. Otherwise, I and hundreds of doctors in this province would long ago been under their care.

Vaccination Controversy Continues

Hello Dr. Rona, I recently read an article by you on the Vaccine Controversy on vitalitymagazine.com. I was searching for enlightened Canadian doctors and activists who are aware of what is going on with the Swine Flu vaccine controversy.

I personally have been spreading the word by posting flyers, talking to friends and family, sending emails and faxes to members of parliament, but it seems that this type of activism is not powerful enough to stop the Canadian government and the world government behind them from achieving their goal: to vaccinate everybody in Canada, whether they want it or not (http://infowars.net/articles/october2009/151009Canadian.htm).

As far as I can see, legal action is the only way we can preserve our human rights in this regard. We have to take the Canadian Health ministry or whatever body is responsible for licensing drugs for use in Canada to court over their gross negligence in approving these untested swine flu vaccines for use in Canada. As the recent case against the FDA by health freedom attorney Jim Turner shows, there is no trail whatsoever of any safety testing done on the Swine Flu vaccines. The fact that the FDA approved them is clearly illegal as it violates its own standards. www.naturalnews.com/027205_ vaccines_swine_flu_the_FDA.html

Similar action must be taken in Canada. So I am sending this letter to you as a prominent member of the health community requesting that you find an attorney as passionate as you are about the freedom, health and safety of the community and file a lawsuit against Health Canada for approving untested Swine Flu vaccines for use in Canada.

Failing to do so may mean that millions of people will be injected with toxic adjuvants such as squalene that will cause untold amount of pain and suffering.

Make no mistake, there is definitely a plan in place to do this, and with the passing of Bill C-6 they now have the power to do it legally.

Sincerely, Dave Halmai

Dr. Rona Responds

Dave: Thank you so much for your interest and good intentions. My article was meant to make people think about the foolishness of getting any kind of flu vaccine. Last year it was bird flu. This year it’s swine flu and I predict that next year it will likely be monkey flu or some other defenseless animal flu. Great money making scam!
